Founder Of VrFarms

Glen Sawyer, founder of VrFarms, is a seasoned innovator with a passion for sustainable agriculture. With experience at Hewlett Packard, Intel, and CalPERS, he has expertise in system administration, performance testing, and network support. Glen’s vision led to the creation of SaladBar Corporation in 2000 and VrFarms in 2005, focusing on advanced hydroponics and biomass-to-energy solutions.
Through collaborations with the University of Arizona, Cornell University, and the Eden Project, Glen has championed sustainable farming technologies. His unwavering commitment drives VrFarms’ mission to combat food insecurity and climate change through innovation and resilience.
